Our story

Thomas Gallant Jr Electrician Inc was established to meet the growing demand for trustworthy, code-conscious electrical services in the Westport area. Our founder — a trained and licensed electrician — built a team that emphasizes hands-on experience and continuous training. Over six years, we have completed a broad range of projects: from simple outlet repairs and ceiling fan installations to whole-house rewires, service upgrades, generator installations, and industrial switch-gear work.

Why local expertise matters

Local electricians understand the specific needs of homes built in the region: older wiring types, common renovation requirements, and seasonal impacts on electrical systems. We bring experience working in both newer constructions and older Westport homes that may contain outdated wiring such as knob-and-tube. Our familiarity with Massachusetts code ensures inspections and permits proceed smoothly.

Why we believe in preventative maintenance

Routine electrical maintenance reduces the chance of emergency breakdowns, improves safety, and extends equipment life. We recommend periodic inspections for both homes and businesses to identify loose connections, overheated breakers, or aging wiring. Preventative maintenance also ensures smoke detectors and fire alarms are functioning correctly and circuits protecting critical loads are reliable.

Careers & subcontractor relationships

We hire careful, motivated electricians and support staff who share our values of safety and quality. For larger commercial and industrial projects we collaborate with vetted subcontractors to ensure each phase meets our standards and regulatory requirements. Prospective team members seek training opportunities and an environment that emphasizes craftsmanship.

Client testimonials & reputation

Our customers consistently note clear communication, neat workmanship, and trustworthy recommendations. We earn repeat business through responsive emergency repairs and thoughtful upgrades that improve safety and functionality.
